    EPIC

    EPIC (a project of the Hartford Institute of Religion Research with funding from the Lilly Endowment, Inc) offers comprehensive new study conducted between September 2024 and January 2025. They surveyed more than 24,000 church attenders across 80-plus denominations to examine how congregational life has evolved five years after COVID-19 first disrupted religious gatherings nationwide.     Ryan Burge is an associate professor (beginning in August 2023) of political science at Eastern Illinois University, where he also serves as the graduate coordinator. He has authored over thirty peer-reviewed articles and book chapters alongside four books about religion and politics in the United States. He has written for the New York Times, POLITICO, and the Wall Street Journal. He has also appeared in an NBC Documentary, on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, as well as 60 Minutes which called him, “one of the country’s leading data analysts on religion and politics.”

    Ryan has been a keynote speaker for PCPA several times.

    Pew Religion Research

    Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world. We conduct public opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven social science research.
