Accolades for Peer Groups
“I wanted to send a note of appreciation about our PCPA Curriculum Peer Group.
After the PCPA meetings, our peer group decided to continue a short monthly Zoom to provide ongoing support during these unique times. It has been such a needed source of insight. Today two of the peer group members from other houses shared valuable advice to guide me and my house through a key staff transition we’re experiencing. I thanked them both but also wanted to share a word of thanks for the PCPA network and all the ongoing ways it contributes to the body of Christ. I am grateful to you and the PCPA team.”

Peer groups provide a wide range of opportunities for members including:
- Peer support
- Industry resourcing
- Professional networking
- Benchmarking
- Collaboration
- And other things that we think of together!
Peer groups have traditionally met annually at our spring conference to share best practices, concerns related to their work, ideas for collaboration, etc.
In between our annual in-person conferences, leaders of some of the peer groups host Zoom-based conversations among those in their peer groups just to connect, brainstorm and see if there are ways PCPA or other members can be supportive of one another.
With our peer group email lists, members receive links to articles, podcasts, webinars, etc. that we think will be helpful to them in their work.If you’re interested in adding a new peer group to this list, please contact Beth Lewis, Executive Director, at beth.lewis@pcpaonline.org.
